Glide Energy Ltd installed a commercial solar system onto large office building to assist with on-going annual energy usage

Logistically Complex Project

Because this building is located in Didsbury near Manchester Airport Glide Energy had to obtain a permit from the Airport to allow for the contract crane to lift materials to the roof space.
We took care of all the administration and management of the Crane Lift within our package.
The existing roof membrane was protected from damage by utilising sacrificial membrane and plywood to enable the safe point loading of materials during the crane lift.
The delivery of large amounts of materials were co-ordinated and delivered on the same day whilst utilising our own telehandler to off-load and safely store on site ready for the crane lift

3 Phase Commercial Solar

312 x JA Solar all black bi-facial 430 watt Panels with a 30 year linear performance warranty, guaranteeing the future output of the system
1 Solar Edge 3 phase Synergy Manager Inverter system with commercial S1000 optimisers for advanced system performance and panel level monitoring.
1 Firefighter gateway interface to link the solar system to the fire alarm to automatically shutdown in the event of a fire and also to allow firefighters the option to manually shutdown the system with an emergency stop.

Commercial Software to Monitor the System

What does this involve?

We set up the client up with multiple a log ins to the monitoring software so that they view their solar production in real time:

They can produce monthly/annual reports to see exactly what savings they are making
They can produce reports to show the C02 savings made by generating free green electricity.
The system will even notify them if there are any faults with the electricty supply from the Grid.
