Bacup Cricket Club utilised a mixture of local funding combined with a low interest loan from the English Cricket Board to bring this project to life.

Fastenol Roof Fixing system
System installed using Fastenol MCS approved roof hooks and rail system:

Our Structural Engineers carry out structural calculations to provide compliance with roof loadings, wind loadings and snow loadings to ensure the system performs correctly and will stand the test of time

We use properly qualified experienced roofers to carry out these installation works making sure that the solar system and existing roof retains it's weatherproofing and integrity.

The system will even notify them if there are any faults with the electricty supply from the Grid.​

Electrical Supply
Glide Energy Ltd installed a new dedicated 3 phase supply

We have installed a new 3 phase distribution board dedicated to the Solar system.

The Sigenergy system controls the battery usage from a new 3 phase energy meter linked into the main building supply .

The solar & battery system distrubutes clean free energy throughout the building reducing electricity bills, saving C02, helping the Cricket Club with on-going cash savings year after year.

What does this involve?
We set up the club with a log in to the monitoring software so that they view their solar production in real time:

They can produce monthly/annual reports to see exactly what savings they are making

They can produce reports to show the C02 savings made by generating free green electricity.
